English Footballer Adam Lallana currently plays for the England national football team besides appearing for the Premier League club Liverpool as an attacking midfielder. He started his footballing journey with Bournemouth as a child-talent and later transferred to Southampton in 2000. He took an intensive training at the Southampton youth academy and made his debut as a professional footballer in 2006. Lallana was transferred from Southampton to Bournemouth on loan for a brief period followed by his debut for the first team of Southampton in 2007.

Just like his father, Lallana grew up as an avid supporter of Everton. He joined the Bournemouth Centre of Excellence for youth program during his childhood days. He then spotted by a scout of Southampton and moved to Saints Academy as a 12-year-old child soccer talent in September 2000. Southampton first paid £3,000 compensation to Bournemouth for him, and then again £5,000 when he signed Scholarship program followed by £10,000 when he signed his first professional contract. Lallana was an integral part of the Southampton youth squad which reached the semi-finals of FA Youth Cup twice consecutively, in 2005 and then again in 2006.

Lallana was inducted in the 23-men first squad of Southampton in July 2006 followed by his first-team debut in a League Cup match against Yeovil Town on 23rd August 2006.
