David Beckham responds to Zlatan’s transfer rumours

Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic announced that despite his severe knee injury, there was a new deal of one year, signed with Manchester United for the summer.  After the injury in April, his return was much earlier than it was expected. However, it seems that Zlatan coming back to action was a rushed decision, as the player is now struggling desperately for fitness. And now, new rumours have surfaced about him joining the Major League Soccer, and former English player, David Beckham, has something to say about it.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho said that Zlatan did not say anything about it to him. The first time he came to know about this was when he read about it or heard of it from the media, but he never heard Zlatan say anything in this regard, and so Mourinho is not aware of this. He added that Zlatan is in the last year of his contract, and if he wants to leave MUFC and sees a future in a different club in a different country, then the club authorities will help him get there, by creating favourable conditions, instead of making his life hard.

It is likely that Zlatan’s next stop will be none other than the MLS, and coincidentally, Beckham has mentioned that his intention to form his own team in the league. On being asked whether he would like to have Zlatan in his team, Beckham responded that Zlatan is one of the top players, and if he decides to join MLS at any point, it will be great. However, currently, he is with Manchester United, and Beckham expressed his pleasure. However, he thinks that at some point in time, Zlatan might join MLS.

The two players were teammates while they were at Paris Saint-Germain for Ligue 1, and Beckham is aware what kind of a coup the Swede will be for his MLS team. However, it seems that Zlatan has some unfinished business at MUFC first.
