FIFA U17 World Cup Standings 2017 is the fully updated point table containing wins, draw, losses, goals for and against, goal differences and scored points of each group and each participating teams in the newest edition of the U17 World Cup.

The final bell of U17 world cup this year was already ringed during the draw of the pots. The draw for FIFA U17 World Cup 2017 group stage was held on 7th July 2017 at the Hotel Sahara Star in Mumbai. The first segment of the FIFA U17 World Cup 2017, the group stage, will be played by 24 teams. There will be 6 groups from A to F having 4 teams each. The top two place holder of each group along with 4 highest points scoring third place holder will advance to the round of 16 (the knockout phase). Paraguay, Mali, New Zealand and Turkey will play the Group B matches in 2017 U17 World Cup. The inaugural matches of Group B will be played on 6th October 2017 at DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai. 2015 Edition’s Runners up Mali is the strongest team in the group. New Zealand reached the round of 16 in the last U17 world cup and is expected to achieve the same in the FIFA U17 World Cup Standings 2017. On the other hand, Turkey is quite a strong team of the European continent and will try to achieve the same feat which they achieved in 2009 while reaching the quarterfinals of the U17 Football World Cup.

Iran, Guinea, Costa Rica and Germany will participate in the Group C matches of the U17 Football World Cup 2017. The first matches of Group C will be played on 7th October 2017 at Fatorda Stadium, Margao Goa. It is expected that 1985 runners-up and two times third place winner Germany will dominate the matches in this group. Costa Rica reached the quarter finals of the 2015 edition of the U17 World Cup and also expected to do well this year too. The Asian participant Iran became the runners-up of AFC U-16 Championship in 2016 and expected to maintain their level of performance in this tournament too.

North Korea, Niger, Spain and Brazil will compete against each other in the Group D matches of the U17 World Cup this year. The inaugural matches of this group will be played on 7th October 2017 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi. They prediction to become the group winner is with the three times U17 champion and two times runners-up Brazil. The three times runners-up Spain is also expected to give a good competition in FIFA U17 World Cup Standings 2017 of Group D. Japan, France, Honduras and New Caledonia will participate in the matches of Group E this year. The inaugural matches of Group E will be played on 8th October 2017 at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati Assam. 2001 U17 World Cup champion France is expected to dominate the matches of this group where the Asian participant Japan is also expected to give a tough fight as they already reached the quarterfinals twice till now. Like Niger, New Caledonia will also participate in their first ever U17 World Cup after they became runners-up of OFC U-17 Qualifying Tournament in 2017.

Iraq, Chile, England and Mexico will play the group F matches of the FIFA U17 World Cup this season. The first matches of this group will be played on 8th October 2017 at Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata. It is expected that two times U17 champion Mexico will have a great run in this edition too. The South American participant Chile reached the round of 16 in the 2015 edition of the cup and also expected to do well this year too. The underdog of this world cup, England, is currently having a great form and expected to continue their legacy. On the other hand, Asian participant Iraq became the champion of AFC U-16 Championship in 2016 and is expected to achieve a good place in FIFA U17 World Cup Standings 2017.
