English footballer Jesse Lingard plays for the Premier League club Manchester United as an attacking midfielder besides appearing for the England national football team. Despite being a ManU player, the 25-year old made his senior debut for Leicester City after he was loaned out to the foxes in 2012. Besides Leicester, he also spent time on loan at Birmingham City and Brighton & Hove during the season 2013-14. Lingard made his international debut for the English team in October 2016 after representing the U17 and U21 teams.

Born in Warrington, Cheshire, Lingard attended William Beamont Community High School during his childhood days. He joined the Youth academy of Manchester United at the age of just seven. He made his progress through the age groups and finally became a part of the Manchester United squad that achieved the 2010–11 FA Youth Cup. He was first inducted in the senior team of Red Devils on 30th November 2011 for the League Cup quarter-finals against Crystal Palace, but remained unused.
Lingard, with his Manchester teammate Michael Keane, joined Leicester City on loan on 6th November 2012, and made his debut the same day against Bolton Wanderers. He was first loaned out for a month to the foxes which was later extended to 2nd January 2013. Lingard made five appearances for Leicester during his tenure. He joined Birmingham City on loan on 19th September 2013 and made his debut for the club two days later against Sheffield Wednesday in a Championship match. The agreement was then extended till 14th December 2013 initially and again extended further till 1st January 2014. Lingard was again loaned out to Brighton & Hove Albion on 27th February 2014 for 93 days. He played 17 matches during this time for Brighton & Hove while scoring 4 times. Jesse Lingard also loaned out to Derby County on 2nd February 2015 where he stayed till the end of the season.
Lingard was first inducted in the Manchester United 19-man Squad for the pre-season tour in 2013 and scored his first goal against A-League All Stars in a friendly match in Sydney on 20th July 2013. He scored against Liverpool in the International Champions Cup Final on 4th August 2014. Lingard made his competitive debut in Premier League against Swansea City in the first match of season 2014-15. He then scored his first competitive goal in EPL against West Bromwich Albion on 7th November 2015 at Old Trafford.
Notably, Lingard scored the winning goal in the 2016 FA Cup Final between Manchester United and Crystal Palace. He also scored for the Red Devils in the 2016 FA Community Shield victory over then-premier league champion Leicester City. Lingard then scored in the 2017 EFL Cup Final where Manchester United defeated Southampton in February 2017. For his marvelous performances in important matches, Manchester United signed a contract extension with him on 6th April 2017 which will make him stay in the club till 2021.
Lingard first appeared in the international scenario while playing 3 matches for the England U17 team in the 2008 Nordic Tournament. He then promoted to the U21 team and made his debut against Scotland under-21 squad in a friendly match on 13th August 2013 which England won by 6-0 score. Lingard scored the winning goal in a group match against Sweden in 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship on 21st June 2015. He was first introduced in the senior English squad for a friendly match against France on 16th November 2015, but remained unused. Lingard was then called-up for the FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifiers and made his debut for the national team against Malta on 8th October 2016 on the same tournament.
Media first caught Lingard celebrating his 25th Birthday with his Instagram model girlfriend Jena Frumes in December 2017. She is from a borough of Monmouth County called Union Beach in New Jersey, but currently lives in Los Angeles, California. Frumes graduated from North Carolina Central University where she studied theatre and dance. Lingard then again spotted with his girlfriend when he took her to a lunch date at Victor’s restaurant in Cheshire in February 2018. But the relationship seems a past affair after Jena Frumes twitted ‘At least I can say I tried plus I enjoyed the ride. Wish you the best @JesseLingard‘ on 8th march 2018.
The current net worth of Lingard is estimated to be around $15 Million. He had a £25,000-per-week contract with Manchester United until last year, but currently earning £75,000-per-week after the new contract extension with the EPL side. His current yearly salary is estimated to be around £4 Million. As an avid fan of luxury and sports cars, Lingard has a Bentley GT worth £200,000, a Range Rover Sports SVR worth £120,000, a Mercedes C63S AMG worth £80,000 and also a Range Rover Sports V8 worth £96,000.
Besides appearing for the English Under-17 and 21 teams, Lingard also helped Manchester United youth team to achieve the FA Youth Cup success in season 2010-11. He was a part of the senior Manchester United squad that won the FA Cup in season 2015-16, the EFL Cup and UEFA Europa League in season 2016-17, and also the 2016 FA Community Shield.
