The CEO or Pestana said, back in December, that the joint venture has the potential to prove to be helpful in opening new markets in Asia, as well as the Middle East, because Ronaldo is enormously popular in these areas, and the brand will also expand into Spain and the US. Ronaldo’s Pestana will start two new hotels in Madrid as well as New York this year, after testing the market in his home town, Portugal, which is currently enjoying a boom in its tourism.
