Ronaldo met Rhian, now 30, when he was still playing for Manchester United and used to live in the city; he used to message her a lot. The pair often came face to face with each other at clubs as a result of happy accidents. But, ever since he has come to Madrid in 2009, he has kept in touch with the model through text messages and social media. Seemingly, he has asked her quite often about her plans to have kids, and has even requested her to get in touch with him using Facebook Messenger.

One such conversation finally led Rhian to drop that hint that she has a man in her life, by mentioning casually her plans to pick up her ‘fella’ from work, and grabs some drinks with him. In fact, she even mentioned that he will probably not approve of her sending him messages at 11 pm. Allegedly, Ronaldo also received a warning from her fiancée, Oliver Mellor, which finally led the Portuguese player to take a step back.

As revealed by a source, Ronaldo periodically bombards Rhian with messages and while they are on friendly terms with each other, but things can sometimes get a little weird. It was also revealed that Rhian has mentioned many times to him that she is engaged, but Ronaldo seems to ignore that and when Oliver found out about this, he sent the player a message to politely ask him to back off.

This led Ronaldo to delete the conversations, and Rhian has not heard back from the player ever since. This has left the woman pleased, as she has never had any interest in him. Rhian has remained unavailable for comments.
