After a 45-days negotiation with Sevilla, one of the English Premier League champions, Liverpool, signed Moreno for €13.6 Million on 12th August 2014. He completed the move and joined the Reds on 16th August 2014. Shortly after, Moreno made his debut for Liverpool in a Premier League match against Manchester City on 26th August 2014. He then scored his first goal against Tottenham Hotspur on 31st August 2014. He scored a brilliant home-ground goal against Swansea City on 29 December 2014. Despite his brilliant performance, Moreno was used as a substitute for Joe Gomez in the following season.
