Spanish footballer Koke, born as Jorge Resurrección Merodio, currently plays as a midfielder for the La Liga side Atlético Madrid besides playing regularly for the national squad of Spain. He joined the Youth Academy of Atlético Madrid in 2000, at the age of just 8. During his rigorous training program between 2000 and 2008, he earned his promotion through several age groups.
