Predictions For The Premier League Top 4 In The 2023/24 Season

Posted By: |

Ready to start making some predictions for the coming Premier League season? We may not yet have seen the summer transfer window come to fruition, but now is a great time to start looking ahead. Companies like Novibet online betting offer great value odds at this time, given the uncertainty, and that can work in your favor if you like a punt. Things can change between now and August, but here are our picks for who will finish in those hotly-contested Champions League spots.

1st – Manchester City

We would love to sit here and say that the Treble winners aren’t nailed on for the title next season, but I think we all know this would be a lie. The reality is that they are the best team in the world and have shown it this season. Given that nobody of great value looks to be on the way out and the team is still young, slick, and tough, we expect them to win this by a canter… again!

2nd – Chelsea

The remaining three places are up for grabs, and any number of teams can claim them this season. Despite the atrocious 22/23 season that Chelsea had, we expect them to bounce back with aplomb. The last time they finished outside of the top 7, they returned the following year to win the title; such is the way for this club. Given City’s strength, we don’t see the Blues performing such a feat this season, but they’ll be right up there. New manager Pochettino knows his way around this league only too well, and we bank on him getting a tune out of that wealth of talent that Boehly has mindlessly purchased. Get a striker, and 2nd will be theirs.

3rd – Liverpool

Liverpool has ran City the closest in recent years, but what a toll that took on the team. This culminated in a 5th-placed finish last year, which they had to fight tooth and nail for after struggling for the most part. Klopp, however, is no stranger to a rebuild. This team still has prize assets like Alisson, Salah, Alexander-Arnold, and Robertson, with the addition of exciting youth that will see them back in the top 4.

4th – Arsenal

Manchester United fans may not be happy to read this, but we see Arsenal pipping them to 4th spot this season. Arsenal rode the wave of confidence last year and very nearly won the big prize. They’ll be a year older and wiser this season, with some fresh blood ( looking at you, Mr. Rice ), yet we don’t believe they can recreate the breathtaking run of 22/23. Arsenal are more savvy, talented, and weathered than United, and that’s why we see them running the Red Devils all the way, then nipping ahead.

How do you see the top 4 panning out this season? Any shouts for Brighton? Spurs? Man United? Let us know what you make of our picks.
